The Role of Sexuality in Longevity
Premise The Borobil Sexology Center had organized a workshop on sexuality in the new era of longevity: a space for research and exploration into how the body, desire, and intimacy change as we age. The results deserved to reach a wider audience. The format chosen was the podcast.
The Challenge
To turn the findings from a lab—data, testimonials, reflections—into a script that sounds like a real conversation, not a report. So that listeners would see themselves reflected in it, not just take notes.
The "
La Deriva"project drew on audio recordings collected during the laboratory experience to create a script with its own narrative structure. The starting point was not data but experience: The body changes. Not suddenly, nor all at once. It changes as we live and learn. It changes as we accept.
From there, we develop a narrative that addresses sexuality in old age with the seriousness and empathy the topic deserves.
