La Deriva is a narrative identity studio. We help brands and projects build a unique voice that connects and sets them apart. We help them find the best way to articulate what they struggle to define—whether it’s something personal, beautiful, intimate, new, or original.

Narrative identity is how your brand or project presents itself to the world through its story. It is rooted in what you do, but also in who you are, what inspires you, and how you connect with your audience. The tool we use is language, a living entity in constant evolution. At LaDeriva, we craft one that’s right for you by seeking new meanings, creating new connotations, discovering new definitions, and giving rise to new terms. We’re passionate about finding polysemic words to which we can add a new entry in the dictionary: yours.

I. The Anchor

We take the time to listen to you. Before we do anything, we take a step back to understand where you’re coming from. We chat with you so you can explain your project in your own words, as if you were sharing it with someone you trust. Don’t feel the need to use complicated terms or try to be someone you’re not. Your story will be the foundation of your narrative.

II. The Letter

We map it out. We analyze your project in relation to your market and your audience to identify what you have, what’s missing, and what you should focus on. A consistent message and your values form the solid foundation that supports you as a creator or entrepreneur.

III. The Course

We set the direction. We present you with a concrete proposal that we develop together through emotional mapping, keyword analysis, brainstorming, and mood boards. You’ll walk away with a clear path forward and precise language that’s perfectly aligned with your project.

Trabajamos contigo para identificar los conceptos que te definen, crear la narrativa que articula tu proyecto y desarrollar el lenguaje con el que vas a comunicarte.
